Semi-structured interview form was developed by researchers and consists of personal information questions and 12 open-ended questions. With the ciritical case sampling, a method of purposive sampling, 10 teachers working in the Aydın province who use virtual museums in their lessons were selected for interview. Inductive analysis, one of the content analysis types, was employed to analyze the data obtained in the research. The researchers and a lecturer experienced in qualitative research analyzed the teachers answers independently and then they checked the similarities of the analyses. The agreement between the researchers was calculated as 78%. At the end of the study it is found that social studies teachers think virtual museums as an important education material but they have same obstacles while using it.
