ABSTRACT

In academic circles, the discussions have continued in order to achieve success in state building for a long time. Today, the execution of state building in Afghanistan is an important example of event provides the possibility to test the work made or to be made. West gained in Afghanistan, giving priority to securtity will just not bring success in state building. Meanwhile, the importance of the role of Turkey, which highlighting the soft power and encouraging all of the local actors to participate in state building process has continued to grow with each passing day in Afghanistan. Turkey's role in Afghanistan is the reality that needs to be examined, searching for the answer to the question of “how can we achieve the success in state building” by academic circles. This article tries to put forward this reality.
