ABSTRACT

The historic background of the Lalapasa Town which is located north of the Edirne goes back by Bronze and Iron Age. Early archaeological remains as menhirs and dolmens indicate that the early settlements of city before Ottoman dynasty. At the other hand current knowledge’s not enough to illuminate Lalapasa history at that time. So I believe that the archive and survey researches hold an important role for this town captured by Ottoman in 1361 AD.

Main objective of this project is work on the church-mosque building and Ottoman Bath in town centre and also another mosque in Saridanisment Village. All these buildings are crucial doubtlessly since none of them published before and this is the first study carried out by me.
