ABSTRACT
The university exam for attending a university in Turkey has been changed as years passed. Consequently, that has brought up the question as what kind of results those changes introduced while attending a university.In that study the consequences of the examination system which had been applied between 2006- 2009 with one level and the one being applied between 2010-2011 with two levels are evaluated according to succes gradation of 81 cities.As a result of these examinations, the similarities and differences of the cities in terms of the student placement at the universities’ degree, associate degree and open university faculties are examined with the Multidimensional Scalling. It has been observed that; as a result of the study, the examination system being applied since 2010 has increased the dissimilarity of the cities about placement of the students at a university more than last years. It is concluded that the changes increased the current dissimilarities especially among the cities which are economically developed and underdeveloped.
